Pawsitive Memories would like to recommend the S.A.P.P.Y. Pet Loss & Grief Support Group of San Antonio to anyone who has lost a faithful animal companion to illness, old-age, accident or displacement.

We’re getting out and about! Pawsitive Memories will also be at the Jingle Paws Classic 5K Walk/Run this Saturday, December 4th at Soler’s Tri-Sport in Helotes. Race begins at 8 a.m. Come out and cheer on the competitors!

Come join us at this free, unique event to celebrate our animals friends – past and present. Bring a photo of your pet. Candles will be provided. Leashed pets are welcome.

It is with deep regret that I inform you that Chance, my Labrador that was on hospice and mentioned in the the KSAT 12 feature on Pawsitive Memories, has passed away. He transitioned to the Rainbow Bridge on his own, Monday, August 16th.
Chance got his name because he was a ‘second chance’ dog. I found him badly injured on the side of a rural road, his right front leg so badly mangled it had to be amputated. Chance apparently never noticed his leg was gone, since he could still dig a hole big enough to drive a truck into. Which I did. Several times.
He formed a bond with “The Girls”, from the time they were tiny puppies. He always had a great attitude and he was an inspiration to me. He will be missed by myself and his canine companions, Isabelle and Rae.
